Default speaker workshop

I'm just beginning into audio DIY including investigating and updating
my speakers. I began the Speaker workshop and already have questions.

Let me know if there is a better forum for these posts. I couldn't
register at the SWF forums.

when I hooked in my loop cable to test my card with the harmonic
distortion test I get a graph that plots amplitude in dB and phase but
the docs say that it should show % and I apparently should be able to
identify the 2nd and 3rd harmonics. I see a logarithmic decreasing
graph of sine peaks but that's it. I changed to non log output and see
some bumps that may or may not be harmonic indications but I'm just
guessing. Any help on getting started.

It is way long time I tried it out, it is actually quite useful.

I think it is a one-person show that never quite made it to "commercial
success".

??? distortion tst ??? - I am not anywhere clos to an answer, but at
least tell what card you are using, in case that matters. However as I
recall things the test sound card thing with it is about frequency
response.

I get a graph that plots amplitude in dB and phase

which is what you got. So if it can also test distortion then you must
have chosen the wrong of multiple possible tests.

but

What is the download url for the current version?

Phil
