Default how to replace a Harman Kardon A-402 amp?

Hello:

I have an HK A-402 amplifier that I purchased back in the 70's.
Unfortunately, it appears to be dying a slow death. I will keep it for
possible future repair. However, right now my dilemma is what to
replace it with. I have become very fond of the 402 since it served me
so well for about 30 years! Thus, I want to purchase another
comparable amp, but new, if they exist. What I want is:

1) A non-tube twin powered (seperate power supply for each chanel)
40-45 watt amp
2) Lots of inputs for my PC, phonograph, cassette deck, 4-track tape
recorder, cd player...
3) Something simple that just sounds great because it is a well
designed amplifier
4) No tuner
5) Something in the $200-500 pirce range, if possible

So basically another HK A-402 Seriously, can anyone recommend an
amp that is new but similar to the 402? It has obviously been awhile
since I shopped for a home stereo amp and my googling today has left me
pretty confused by all the products out there. Is there not a few
top-rated amps that might fit the bill? Or maybe a couple good
websites that review amps so I can compare. Most of the websites I've
seen are very confusing. TIA.
