Recently I have located some source material that I want to copy and
retain. It is on old open reel tapes. My first attempt to handle this was to try to resurrect a Sony TC-366 unused for several years. It will wind and rewind but not play. What are my best options to copy these tapes? Should I try to locate a working Reel to Reel machine? Would it be worth trying to locate someone to repair my TC-366? Should I find a professional copying service? Budget is a consideration. This is a one off project and costs should not be disproportionate. I am currently located in Reno, so local resources are limited. Happy Holidays and thanks for your thoughts Adrian |
