While browsing in the RAO archive at Google, I found one of my old posts
that struck me as strongly apposite to the present. Arnii, if you're still
able to read human language, please take stock of yourself before Krooing
down at Jenn yet again.

As a service to the online audio community, I've scoped out Arnii "Gud
Kristian" Krooger's behavior with regard to the quintessential (Christian)
parameters of naughtiness, the Seven Deadly Sins. My observations are the
following.


* * Pride * *

Krooger pretends to be a world-class authority on every aspect of audio,
but in reality he's nearly a complete zero. He has claimed to know more
about blind testing than Phoebe Johnston, a proposition that is ridiculous
beyond words. He has claimed to know more about software development than
both Paul Dormer and Paul Bamborough, two individuals who are
professionals in the field. He has claimed his knowledge of digital audio
engineering is nearly the equivalent of Glenn Zelniker's, who is perhaps
the foremost designer of digital mastering and production equipment
working today. (Dr. Zelniker was able to dispatch this absurd claim
quickly by presenting ****-for-Brains with a list of tasks that a real
digital audio engineer would be able to handle. Naturally, Turdborg
vanished from that exchange at warp speed.)

* * Envy * *

Krooger's envy is staggering in its breadth and depth. The Beast is not
merely envious of the knowledge and accomplishments of Real Audio Guys; he
is also green to the gills about his inability to purchase the material
goods that bespeak success. He would love to have truly high-end audio
equipment, but he can't afford it, so he continually spouts off like an
idiot about blind testing. He would love to drive a high-performance car,
but he can't afford it, so he tells lies about his aged minivan's supposed
"superiority" over brand-new SUVs. He would love to own a beautiful house
with a big lawn, but he can't afford it, so he pretends he bought his
hovel to "save money on taxes".

* * Gluttony * *

Krooger's intense gluttony is not obvious like some of the other sins. In
fact, Mr. **** is a glutton for punishment. (Maybe because the Kroobitch
locked up the liquor cabinet.) This pattern is obvious when one considers
his behavior: His flagrant, frequent, and unrepentant hypocrisy; his
abundance of transparent lies; his repeated use of his poor son's death as
a sympathy troll; his flaunting of his wife's desire to escape his
clutches by whoring herself in "back alleys"; etc., etc., etc. Krooger
wants to be scolded and humiliated for these and other behaviors, probably
because it reinforces his craven self-image as a longtime victim.

* * Lust * *

We on RAO have some insight into Turdborg's stunted, twisted sexuality. In
light of the disgraceful admissions he made a few years ago of his
pedophile tendencies, his earlier boasts of sexual prowess take on
completely different meanings. One imagines easily that Mr. **** is at
once consumed with illicit desires to know children Biblically, but
inhibited by the shame he feels about himself. Desires never slaked must
inevitably build up until a breaking point is reached. It's quite possible
that the Beast's behavior on Usenet is the only outward evidence of the
crushing pressure he experiences every day as his forbidden lust is
suppressed. The well-known facts of his dysfunctional "family" life only
reinforce the impression that ****borg is a ticking bomb.

* * Anger * *

Krooger's anger gushes volcanically. The Beast is perpetually angry at the
world in general. The anger manifests itself every time his rickety system
of delusions and grossly magnified fears is challenged by reality. We on
Usenet often see Mr. ****'s anger erupt at seemingly innocuous, everyday
occurrences that occur in conversational exchanges. Examples are
discussions of audio and computer equipment. Whenever Turdy is corrected
on a matter of fact, a point of logic, or a use of language, he goes into
Full Anger Overdrive. The results are quite revolting. Name-calling
ensues, along with preposterous posturing as Krooger practices that sick
combination of lies and hypocrisy he calls "the debating trade".

* * Greed * *

Krooger's accommodation of the sin of Greed is not well known. This is
mainly because he has never succeeded in acquiring wealth or the trappings
thereof. Perhaps he is avaricious, and wants to own the finer things; or
perhaps he's become trapped in the malady of his own paranoia and envy.

* * Sloth * *

Krooger is one lazy head case, no doubt about it. He coasts through life
on the meager pension of long-term disability, forcing his wife to go out
and earn a living despite her true and verified illness. Mr. **** has
claimed many times to be the owner and operator of a "computer business",
but he's told so many transparent lies when pressed for details that it's
impossible for an objective observer to ascribe any credibility to said
claims. Most likely, the limit of Kroo****'s "success" is some sort of
barter arrangement with other members of his church. Perhaps he traded a
computer for service on his creaky old minivan, or a dental bridge for the
Kroobitch, or something similar. However, it's inconceivable that if
Krooger had even half the knowledge he claims about computers and audio,
specifically production and mastering, he couldn't earn a very good living
as a jobber. This 'borg is all talk and no walk.
