I finally *need* to replace my existing Aardvark LX6. Got this as
a bundle several years ago w/ Cakewalk Pro Audio. Would have been nice if Aardvark hadn't gone under and left me w/ XPsp2 driver problems. Deciding what to get is an complex problem, but let's just boil it down to whether to look at PCI or USB or FireWire. The computer will be a Windows/Vista system w/ dual processor. If I want a sound interface with best system stability (no crashes), zero latency, and best likelihood of drivers being supported through the next 10 years of Vista updates, should I look at PCI, or USB, or FireWire? Thanks, Bill |
