Have recently acquired a pair of Hammond amps EACH having one 5U4, four
6V6 and two 6J5 tubes, four transformers placed in a straight line (one large, two smaller and one medium in size and in that order) parallel to the tubes and one large capacitor situated at one end of the chassis . Both amps have no markings on them. Incidentally, there is currently an ebay listing (Item number: 120051874534) similar amp which indicates being obtained from a 'DR20'. Please post any information that will help identify and restore them. |
