Hi all,
I recently got a firepod for studio and mobile work, and I may at some point get another. I'm planning to get an external HD for recording (using Sonar) for my VPR Matrix laptop. It's a 1.4ghz P4 with 512 megs of ram, 2 fw ports, and 2 usb2 ports. My question - given my setup, am I better off getting a firewire HD or USB? I've talked to people who daisy-chained a fw HD off the firepod. How stable is that? What are the dis/advanteges of FW vs. USB2 for me? tia, -- Mikey Wozniak Nova Music Productions This sig is haiku |
