Hello: I think I'm living in the stone ages with my old NAD CD player
which by the way still delivers unbelievably pure sound quality. It is getting to be very old though and I don't know where to go with my next purchase. Do I go with an NAD CD player again which I hear they are still fantastic? I currently have a Harmon Kardon Audio Receiver by the way. OR do we plunge into Home Theater and just get an entire system in a box that combines Audio and Video and a DVD player included that I just play CDs on. I really cannot believe the sound quality would meet that of a separate CD player like the NAD. Do I abandon my hi end Snell speakers for the home theater ones that come with the whole set up? There are so many directions to go now I just feel overwhelmed as to what to do. Now my neighbor told me to forget even buying CDs anymore and just get a router from my computer and join some online music service. I nearly fainted. Life with no CD player. Help? Please email with advice. By the way - I am still klinging to my Nakamichi tape deck too. Thanks! Sharon |
