Wow, I posted a msg here, and it turned into a battle between losers,
with a few great helpful replies thrown in (thanks). I'm sorry to see
that this group has deteriorated so badly. I frequented it years ago,
and it was mostly full of constructive stuff and mature, well-adjusted
people. Now, this group has gone the way of so many on usenet, and it's
a shame. Those more positive and helpful folk among you have my
sympathies. It's pretty easy to tell who the culprits are, just look
in the thread on MP3 I started, and they make themselves, and their
personalities, pretty obvious. This group is almost as bad as the linux
groups have become.

Oh well....

Yes, the moderators of RAH-E had the good sense to ban Arnii Krooger
forever from polluting their group.

Not the only moderators ever to do that either !

I think it was a prosoundweb.com forum. IIRC, he was banned within a day.

It was ProSoundWeb.com

Arny was kicked out for being hostile to everyone and generally argumentative about stuff he
doesn't really understand. It took all of a couple of days. I think it was a bit of a set-up job
but he fell for it.

It took longer than one day.

I was present at the time and it wasn't a pretty sight.

Nope. It took about a week for the moderator who was in on Phildo's plan to
come back from vacation, and put their plan into action.

Actually, I thought it was pretty funny. I pretty well knew it that Phildo
had a plan in place, but had to play it out to be sure. Phildo also did some
local slandering in my back yard. Phildo subsequently nearly died,
essentially at his own hand. He makes Middius and Phillips look like the
girls they really are.

Shows how little you understand about the topics at hand, Graham. It was
mostly about digital recording stuff that Graham lacks extensive practical
experience with. On a good day Graham admits that he doesn't understand a
lot of the basics of digital audio, but sometimes he forgets.

It took all of a couple of days. I think it was a bit of a set-up job but
he fell for it.

It was not a matter of falling for anything. It was pretty obviously a
setup, but I wasn't totally sure. What was there to lose? I never really
wanted to post there, so when I got kicked out it was fine with me. I lucked
out in that one of the co-conpirators was out of town when I started
posting.

Pshaw!

It was around the last holiday season. That's one reason why I lucked out
and started posting when one the moderator who was in on the scam was out of
town.
