I have a 5.1 set of Atlantic Technologies speakers (Model 171) with
which I am very happy. Going to move them from family room to new basement home theater. Question: What two ceiling mounted (flush) speakers might I add to the rear for a 7.1 configuration (getting a new amp) that would (a) sonically work well with the AT speakers I have, and (b) be inexpensive? This room is for movies 99% of the time, and most of the time, those rear speakers don't get much of a workout. So I am loathe to spend the $400+ to get the closest Atlantic technology speakers they currently offer. I'd prefer to spend under $200 for the pair. Suggestions? PS: I live in Seattle, so would LOVE it if I could go pick them up this weekend. THANKS to all in advance! --Patrick |
