Peavey TLS-4 Repair
Seems that I've hurt the woofers on a pair of the subject speakers.
Question is would it be better in the long run to replace the drivers with OEM (Sheffield 1500), or go with a different brand? I don't want to have to do this often. Thanks in advance, Ernst |

If you don't want to do it often, find out what caused the damage this time and stop doing that. Woofer damage is most often cause by voice coils overheating... the resistance goes up, the level goes down, and the operator just keeps cranking the low end up until the coil melts. --scott -- "C'est un Nagra.
