Default Eeyoore's tips for choosing the best musical instrument

Summary of previus correspondence in two separate threads below.

First the not so white lies. Sorry- terminological inaccuracies.
I asked- (for the third time in a month)
Still waiting for your evidence that Israel was blasting Gaza with
rocket missiles.

Truthful Graham answers;
I never said such a thing

On Aug 31 in the "Why Graham thinks U.S. is hated" thread, one Eeyore
says (message # 21)
Incidentally, Israel lobs rockets into Gaza btw. I guess that's ok with you ?
Graham .

Was it you? Or an impersonator by any chance?
Now for Spectrum Analysis.
Thanks for the reference . All you need now is to set up a dealership
for 99.99$ spectrum analyser that will tell the music academies, the
virtuoso violinists, the composers how to buy the best. An infallible
product for telling why the Cremona violin is superior to Brescia and
how to pick the right flute if you're a flutist. Is that what they
taught you with your B.Sc.?
Ludovic Mirabel
---------------------------------------------------------
Previous correspondence in two separate threds
"Krooborg's feeble assault..." and "Why Graham thinks U.S. is hated":
" wrote to Eeyore In the "Krooborg..." thread::

"Come back when you have a
tool for measuring differences between a Strad and a Best Buy violin.

Eeyore answered
Easy. Spectral analysis.

I said:
Presumably not done at your home. Quote a refernce. You know:Journal,
author(s), date, page.. Simple ,no?

Answer:
Why ? It's obvious. Otherwise they'd sound the same.
Graham

I answered:
When one asks in an audio forum for a reference about measuring
differences between a Strad and a mass production violin one assumes a
moderate IQ level response.. Obviously the question is about AUDIO
differences which make a Strad superior.

Delete my tedious quote from Wikipedia:about spectrum analysers
Either you take everyone here for an idiot or..." Sing the rest to
yourself.
Ludovic Mirabel
P.S. Still waiting for your evidence that Israel was blasting Gaza with
rocket missiles.

Eeyore answers:
You left out the word AUDIO !
http://www.google.com/search? client=opera&rls=en&q=audio+spectrum+analysis&so urceid=opera&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8
Are you seriously trying to tell me you've never heard of audio spectrum analysis
btw ? It's how you determine harmonic content for example.

I said:
Still waiting for your evidence that Israel was blasting Gaza with
rocket missiles.
You will say any nonsense that pops into your brain won't you?

Answer: from Eeyo
I never said such a thing

Have you ever heard of the concept of interspersing blank lines to improve readability ?

I thought not.

I do not even bother myself with clots who post BLOCKS of unreadable text.

Not if he'd say anything about cables in one of those "BLOCKS of
unreadable text" you small-soul prick. Then you'd be all over him with
all sorts of overused, trite, borgish cliches.

Poopie is currently engaged in some bizarre sexual fantasies involving a
fat farmboy, a dwarf whore, an Israeli "rocket" ;-), and his grandpappy's
ear trumpet. And to maximize the grotesquerie, he's holding out the
surprise of the party until his pal Arnii Krooborg arrives.

You were able to read my "blocks of unreadable text" up till
today-well enough to answer them.

This sudden blindness is alarming. You could be suffering from acute
glaucoma- a serious vision threatening emergency. I suggest an urgent
visit to an ophthalmologist.
Concerned Ludovic Mirabel

P.S.Did I insert enough blank lines for those visually impaired or
should I repeat putting in even more?

Don't delay!!!

Come on Ludo, you've had more than enough complaints about your sloppy
posting, that it is reasonable to hold you accountable for it.

Try as you may Ludo, you can't cover up your sloppy thinking with sloppy
posting. I doubt we'll ever stimulate you to grow your mind, but at least
try to get the mechanics of posting a little right.

Arnii, is there any fault of yours that you don't see in others? Just name
one if you can.

If "sloppy posting" is my fault riding to the rescue of a liar who
tries to evade taking responsibility for his lies by the most idiotic
red herring yet produced in RAO is quite in keeping with your ideas of
intelligent debate.

There are a few ways of dealing with one's mistakes. One is to say
"Sorry I made a mistake". This is the grown-up and, dare I
say,gentlemanly way.
The other is to try to brazen it out by insult ("clots who...") and
irrelevance. Like this: Eeyore's own

I do not even bother myself with clots who post BLOCKS of unreadable
text

Your white knight Eeyore still did not answer when I obliged and
reprinted with breaks between the lines.

Let me remind you that you also did not answer a repeated request for a
reference to published experimental work validating your ABX listening
test. I'll be delighted to reprint it with triple breaks between the
lines if you request it. Or do you wish now you did not open *that* can
of worms?

Though to your credit I must say that silence when one has nothing to
say is one up on moronic excuses and insults worthy of a cunning
4th-grader. No wonder he took his nom-de-plume from a childrens' book

Let me know when you get your auto-repeat module fixed, Ludo.

I misunderstood your reference due to its sloppy presentation.

Israel does inded fire rockets into Gaza from their attack helicopters and fighter
jets.

It was the use of the word 'lob' that confused me. Normally I'd reseve that for
ground-fired missiles.

Just the usual childish prattle from someone who obviously has no concept
the benefits of audio test gear. If they can think of some odd application
where measurements aren't necessarily the tool of choice, they'll use it to
damn all uses of measurements.

Then again, the scientific literature includes a goodly number of articles
where measurements were applied to violins, with useful results.
