As a layperson, I see insecurity and an ego that's inflated

They would see a troll who posts under the name: George Middius.

Why do you ask?

Intelligent attitude on this particular NG.

2. Postures as knowledgeable about various subjects, but when caught

Perhaps he uses to gently concede to his contradictors what they are
deseperatly looking for : the victory.
This guy is surely a kind of philanthropist.

3. Advocates for class warfare and rails against things that are "too
expensive", but boasts about his own possessions that give him

So this means that this guy isn't French since French business is well
known to promote "de luxe" products.
BTW I have heard about a RAO contributor who has claimed to have a
"modest audio system" perhaps it is the same guy ?

4. Values loyalty to allies above their odious behavior.

Any evidence to an allegiance to Middius' party ?

5. Admits to minor errors but invariably blames them on external
circumstances rather than admit to sloppiness or laziness.

It's not me, definitively... I'm too lazy.

As a layperson, I see insecurity and an ego that's inflated
artificially to compensate.

This could describe George M. Middius.

What would a person with insight and training see?

Dr. Richman please !
