Default TRW-17... What are your thoughts on this new product?

Has anyone auditioned this subwoofer system? I've never seen anything like
it and I wonder if its unheard-of (no punn intended) said performance could
actually make it to be a revolutionary product for the high-end industry.
What are your thoughts?

My thoughts are if one can afford this particular unit at the proposed
~$15K or so, then it might be a neat gimmick but for no discernable
reason other than to have it. I could think of more interesting
audio-related things to do for that kind of $$, but that is just me.

There is a device available for vehicles that bolts to the unibody and
has a lever that bolts to the unibody as well on a flexible lever. The
device vibrates the vehicle as a 'sub-woofer'. It would seem to me
that such a device could be adapted for home use as well at a fraction
of that $15K. Again, I would ask why, but there is no accounting for
taste.

Note that some building systems are designed around a very low
frequency modulus to prevent vibrational damage from passing traffic,
aircraft and other vibrations. This device may be 'counter-productive'
under those conditions.

To which one also must add that there are very few sources with such
frequencies encoded in them.
