And now for something completely different from the daily buckets
of sewerage
that pass for discussion of audio around here.
I needed a high power, high audio quality resistor. I wrote to
Caddock Engineering for information.
I got a detailed and useful reply the next morning with a 2nd
message after my correspondent Mr. Richard Drawz.discussed my specific
audio needs with a colleague. He knew that I'm a private audio fan- not
a corporation with a big order waiting.
This I think merits reporting.
For the conspiracy-minded: other than information I had no
favours from Caddock. I'm paying for my purchase.

It is good to hear that there are still companies that take their
responsibility seriously.

I had a similar experience with the engineering department of Sanken
recently.
They were very helpful, understanding and fast in their response.

The fact that we use Sanken devices in our amps surely counts, but the
numbers we use them in , must be negligible compared to say Sony or
Panasonic.

I've had excellent service from Caddock products and have never had to
bother them, because their literature answered any questions I had.

And I never suspected that you were that bright. Just
shows you.
