I refute the idea of Global warming. There is no evidence from

anybody
credible.

How about the report below, from the National Geographic:

(Sorry if the link gets broken into two lines; you can still
cut'n'paste
it into your browser to get the full story.)

Greenland Melt May Swamp LA, Other Cities, Study Says
Stefan Lovgren
for National Geographic News
April 8, 2004

Greenland's massive ice sheet could begin to melt this century and may
disappear completely within the next thousand years if global warming
continues at its present rate.

According to a new climate change study, the melting of Greenland's
ice
sheet would raise the oceans by seven meters (23 feet), threatening to
submerge cities located at sea level, from London to Los Angeles.

Even a partial melting of the ice sheet could have catastrophic
consequences for low-lying countries like Bangladesh and the Maldives.

This could explain why Dutch people purchase everything they can all
around my country side. ;-)

But why are the Japanese buying all the land in Holland?
Are they planning on raising fish there for their future dinner? :-)

That's a very big if.

I see no mention of any meteorologists.

Maybe they are just trying to catch up. Last I heard the Dutch own more
real estate than the Japanese.

John,

You call National Geographic 'credible'?

I'm sure what McKelvy means is The Washington Times, Townhall.com, National
Review Online, Wall Street Journal, Fox News, The O'Reilly Factor,
nutritionist turned conservative commentator Michael Savage, and of course
that postillion of higher social, political and economic learning - Rush
Limbaugh.

What I consider credible is the people who have the best information, not a
bunch of leftists with flawed computer models that aren't any better than
random number generators, telling us what the climate is going to be like in
50-100 years when we can't predict the weather 3 days from now all that
well. The people who really know are meteorologists and they aren't
supporting the "climate scientists." The bulk of scientific opinion is
against the idea of man made global warming.
