Default Help with record/monitoring

I use a Yamaha EMX 2000 and Coll Edit Pro 2. I would like to be able
to monitor wet (with effects) and record dry (no effect). Is it
possible to do with this board. If so how? It seems like I've tried
everything but I don't really understand sound boards as well as I'd
like.

Thanks,
Ed

Is there a Direct Out on each channel which could sniff a feed to the
soundcard before the signal gets to the effects?

Does CEP (and your soundcard) offer low latency monitoring through
effects? I suspect not. Do you do enough multitrack recording to
justify some better tools?

OK, I figured it out, I ran the channel signal to the monitor outs,
the signal back from CEP to another channel with effects and monitor
that channel via the "Mono" fader (don't know why that works but it
does...? Thanks LP for replying.
