I visited a dealer today, to check out the Yamaha E700 Pianocraft.

This is a compact box with radio, CD/DVD, amp. It is advertised to play
CD-R's with MP3 files on them, so I brought one I had just burned.

It did not play. The unit just said "loading disc", into eternity.

I did check the disc on three other units in the store, and it worked
well. The units I tried included one Yamaha box, the older E600.

So, was this a one off experience -- a bad unit on display in the store?
Or is this machine known to have problems playing CD-R's with MP3's?
