Default multipins (again for one group)

HI folks,

We went through this subject in alt.audio.pro.live-sound
last winter IIRC but then we were talking smaller format,
i.e. moving eight channels of audio.

DOing design and specs for remote rig housed in truck or
trailer, which means we'll need something to conect about 32
channels of audio from snake to truck, and probably on the
other end as well so we don't have cumbersome fan or input
box hanging off the snake. curious who likes what for this
application. Been years since I looked at what was out
there.

Btw since my antique machine here doesn't java and lal that
good stuff many commercial web sites provide little
information, so a catalog number and a phone number for
vendors is also welcome for the connectors you like for this
application.

Of course durability and ease of use are two main factors.

Thanks,

Amazing how much tape is on a 10" reel when it's not.
