audigy ls

audio stereo from line 1 out to av control center, mp3 etc fine, when no
sound and speakers are turned up, there is a ripping sound from the card.
wattage and cpu consumption is fine, pci cards fine, electroshock non
existant. clean install of os and card is fine. misuse of system and card
fails. easy enough to not misuse the system, taking out all drivers and
software and reinstallation of card (if neccessary) fixes it and restore
doesn't do it. any other ideas?

also,

any minidisc in comes out 50/50 l-r in wav, comes out on disc as wave but
taking same audio and copying or ripping it back into the comptuer, the wav
comes out 50 l and 30 right, the right being the weaker.

any ideas?
with creative labs audigy,
what software do you recommend that will easily allow multi level sound
levels be leveled off for flat response and acceptable for radio airplay.
easy for beginner interface wanted.

ability fix via self automated analysis and fix of out of tune notes in
songs, primarily vocals, audience and one other instrument from live or
studio setting, originally recorded via mini disc recorder w/approp. mic.



the result may be here, hoping you have experienc with this.

been looking into www.e-mu.com for not only pro studio hardware but for home
user computer systems and these peoples product, fairly new seems most
reputable. combined with creative labs.
