Default Why does Google have aproblem with text?

I just posted a brief note via my ISP newsserver.
It appears there as written ( including my own typo) and all chopped up
in Google. Why, dear Google brains?

This post appears in google exactly as it appears on my ISP
usenet server with outlook.
Google being browser based will ajust line lengths to fit
the window. Sometime I've seen windows overlap
so the adverts and message text are on top of one another.
Usually a simple screen maximize or closing the favorites
window on the left fixes it. If it persists try resetting
your browser text size to medium

Dear mr. Ludovic Mirabel,
All your posts appear
on my

screen like this most of the time. You may assume that
it makes them pretty hard to read most of the
time.
It sure looks like you write your posts in
wordpad or
word or something like that, and you copy and paste it
later into your browser/newsreader.
It was suggested that Shaw carries a newsfeed, why don't
you write to
them and ask why you can't subscribe to it. A decent newsclient
like Forte (free) Agent or Gravity is needed first, you'll
have to
download it first, then download all carried groups, and then
select the ones you
want to subscribe to. Then write a test message and see if
it
comes through.

I wish you good
luck!

Dear mr. Sander.
Don't be so smug. You can not trust the Google to be as tidy as your
little Amsterdam newsies.
Anyway I tried my ISP (Shaw.ca) and it appears there as written by my
normal neat and tidy self ( ?!!- that was my wife) and still chopped up in
Google.
Google has a problem and blaming just me will not solve it.

I don't blame you, I would love to read your witty, insightful posts,
but the abysmal formatting provides me from doing so.
Think of me as an encouraging teacher who wants the promising student
to do his utmost, because the teacher sees his great potential. ;-)

Hundreds, if not thousands of people use Google for their usenet
perusals, apparently without the problems you encounter.

I'm hardly a computer wizard, so maybe you should turn to someone more
knowledgeable to show you how to overcome your difficulties.
I see you've found a new friend in mr. Riel, maybe he is able to show
you the light ;-)

Hi Ludovic,
I also had a minor formatting problem with Google.
I have always used the web to ng and found
that the Google text box was character string sensitive.
If I made the line too long it would go to the next line
sometimes making odd breaks in the text.
I just adapted to a shorter line length to keep the flow
coherent ( opinions vary ).
I had tried Outlook Express but the ISP seemed to miss
posts that were available in the Google version immediately.
My posts are blockish and I was ploncked by a line judge
once but for the most part the posts get through.
I hope you resolve the mystery of your newsreader.

Just have a look at this very your own message in Google. It might wipe that
smirk off your face.
Did you say you use Google? Carry on. Some postings make more sense
mincemeated than as intended by the writer.

I'm sorry, I use the regular newsfeed from my provider, and a decent
newsclient.
The Google interface is horrible.

However, I just took a quick peek into Google, my posts look fine.
The strange thing is, your posts look better in Google as in my
newsreader........ ;-)

Let's begin at the beginning. No doubt some ISPs work better than
Google.
But Google has many advantages; eg "sort by date".
My question was and is to the Google brains. Why don't they
solve this problem?

I believe every NNTP client has that feature. I know Agent and Free Agent
have it. With Agent, I can also sort by topic and by author.

In addition, a freestanding NNTP client gives you killfiles, email if you
want, the ability to manage all your subscribed groups from the same
interface, and on and on and on. NNTP apps have hundreds of features you
don't get in a Web-based interface.

My question was and is to the Google brains. Why don't they

Speaking for myself, your description of how you create your posts was
lacking in detail. I have used Google on occasion and my posts weren't
munged up like yours are. So it's possible you're doing something in your
process that causes the problem.

Thanks for your interest. I type just like I'm typing now. Sometimes
I correct
anddelete backwards. I think this throws Google inmto confusion. I also
click "Enter" like I did now when I reach the end of the page.
This is a full and honest confession.
I typed this direct into Google and it looks nice and neat. Let's see
what happens.
This time I did not use back-delete once,
Thanks for your tip about NNTP
Ludovic M.
