Maybe if you and Lionel team up, between the two
of you, you could come up with a rational argument
for this war which was Clinton's fiasco.
Or maybe not.

Perhaps if you didn't skip to the end you wouldn't have missed:

"European diplomats said France was highly embarrassed
about the violence. Under Kfor - established in 1999 after
a United Nations Security Council resolution - French troops
are responsible for the area around the northern town of
Mitrovica, where the violence began. The diplomats said
US and German intelligence experts had warned Nato
weeks ago of the danger of ethnic unrest."

You still haven't offered your opinion on this
quagmire Nato and Clinton have created.

I haven't any particular sympathy for Bill Clinton but I cannot accuse
him to be responsible for *centuries* of hatred in the Balkans area.

You are an imbecile, Scott and unfortunately this is definitive. (
Next time you will attempt to a polemist discussion please study
correctly the subject before.

Why people think engaging in petty insults is an act of superior
intellect, I will never understand.
But, as you can tell, I perceive your insults as simple proof that
the topic has made you uncomfortable.

Next time you will attempt to a polemist discussion please study
correctly the subject before.

Is this all you can offer? A typical French refusal to engage or
defend. Come Lionel, should Kosovo be
independent, part of Albania, or be part of Serbia?

Sincerely ? No idea. But I'm sure that none of your above proposals
would bring any improvement.
Scott, if I had a solution for this very old problem I wouldn't lost my
time sharing the mediocrity of my point of view with a moron like you.

An intelligent, serious, honest and dynamic French politic, Bernard
Kouchner, have spent a lot of time as administrator of this area for
NATO. This man who is thousand times more competent than me said that it
will take a lot of time to get real peace in this area.

The real lesson of this tragedy is that the xenophobic scared guys like
you who defend petty advantages are the real ferment of this kind of
conflicts.

So Nato will be policing this territory for how long?
The next 2000 years? That is how long these people
have been in conflict.

An absolutely ridiculous statement.
Here's a decent history summary.

Learn somthing and realize no one
will ever force these people to live together in peace.
It's time to redraw and enforce borders.

You are out of touch. WMD hunt is pretty much over
as far as I am concerned. None found. Oh well,
probably a good thing. Disposal can be hazardous and
expensive. Saddam is gone and the country has
a chance to be free, no thanks to the French.
Meanwhile Serbs die in Kosovo thanks to the French.

And Chirac is in trouble at home.
It looks as though his domestic economic policies are
similar to Bush's.

Scott, don't speak about things you don't understand.
You should focus on the sports you know : WMD hunting...

For french rugby team it's always an honnor to play the Scottish
warriors. Sometime France win sometime France lost...
....At least we have some cultural and sportive exchanges with others
countries. ;-)
