Default microphone question

Where are you located? To follow up on Paul Stamler's suggesting about
hiring a guy to record you live, someone on RAP may know someone in
your area.

Would these microphones be good for recording a soprano sax and a drum
kit (one track each) into a Yamaha AWG16 multitrack recorder?
AKG C3000B
AKG C1000S,
H100 & Sound Tool Case
The cost is $330.
I'm trying to get the classic Bluenote Van Gelder or current CIMP
Cadence sound.
Thanks for your help.
Heath

It's all about the right mic in the right place. You want to record a
drum kit with one mic?? why?
