Since putting my small cube satellite speakers on tall stands I found
that the sound has become thinner. Before I had the speakers sitting on furniture. I am trying out the speaker stands and can return them if they are not suitable. I wanted all the font 3 speakers the same height for surround sound movies. The center speaker sits on the top of the TV. Would heavier speaker stands make a difference to the sound? Regards Brian |

I mean, that they could sound thinner than they already did. -- Posted via NewsDemon.com - Premium Uncensored Newsgroup Service -------http://www.NewsDemon.com------ Unlimited Access, Anonymous Accounts, Uncensored Broadband Access |

No. What's happened is that in moving them, you've no longer got a bass re-inforcement effect that you previously had by pure chance. Small speakers *will* sound thin on stands. Graham |

Particularly if they are incapable of significant output in the 200- 80 Hz range.which is where most small speakers fail. |
