I'd like to thank everyone who helped me with the tinnitus thing and
wrote to wish me well. I was afraid of speaking too soon in case the
problem came back, but all seems to be right again with my ears. The
ringing began to subside late Sunday night and was completely gone
when I woke up Monday morning. It returned faintly a couple of times
yesterday, but was not a big deal, nothing at all like the orginal
sound, and it soon faded away again.

Lucky you. I'm on 5 days of cortisone to try and relieve the
congestion
in my ears. Doc swears cortisone is the strongest anti-inflammatory
and
my ear canals will be open in 2 - 3 days. As of day 1 they are only
gurgling
He swears by day 2 it will be like drano in a clogged drain when they
open.
Luckily mine just feel like they have water in them (for about 2
months now) but I hear fine.

If it doesn't work, I have the ENT referral. A true witch doctor
second only to a proctologist in evil torture. Actually the
gastrointestinal guy was scary but he had good drugs.
