Hi, i've just bought a m-audio fast track interface bus powered usb and

i have cubase sx 3.1. This interface device has 2 ports, a mic port and

a 1/8 jack port and does not record midi (i duno if that helps lol). I
have figured out how to use the mic and i am able to record into cubase

sx 3. But i have a problem. I have no idea how to connect the interface

to cubase sx 3.1 so it detects it and puts it onto a line so it can
record external instruments such as guitars through the jack port onto
a line. I have no idea what you need to do to do this or anything that
has got to do with this. Please help me.
