Have these same Brits also settled the most important question ever
asked?

"Which is the best song of all time: Stairway to Heaven, or Free Bird?"

Naw, gotta be "Love Will Keep us Together" by the Captain and Tennille.

I never understood the hoopla about that "Free Bird". "Staiway to
Heaven" still rocks though for my money and for just pure feelgood rock
and roll, "Satisfaction", "We Won't Get Fooled Again" are hard to beat.

LOL Yeah, it IS a tiresome song, IMO. But I know Toni quite well from
my Reno years, so it's hard to be critical :-)

How could you all overlook:

"Rock Around the Clock"
"The Great Pretender"
"Ain't That a Shame"
"Let the Good Times Roll"
"Blue Suede Shoes"
"Why Do Fools Fall in Love"

Yes, '55 and '56 were very good years....to be a high school upperclassman.

That reminds me -- "I've Got You Babe". Getting sleepy just thinking
about it.

Oddly enough, I used to have her as a customer when I worked at Baskin
Robbins during college. Also heard her sing with the Glendale Symphany
once. Nice lady.

Indeed she is. And we all used to go to BR after concerts in Reno as
well ;-)

The ska version by the Hoovers doesn't have that effect.
