I thought I'd probably pick up an SM-57 but I would like to hear from people on
this group about any good alternatives at a comperable price. While I disagree
with the standard rec.audio.pro opinion on mastering compression, I do
appreciate the knowledgable opinions about gear that abound here. (aside from
the anti-Behringer brigade, that is).

So any suggestions will be appreciated!
