Default component advice

Hey Everyone,
A noob needs help.
I can install relatively well just need some basic advice. I have a
small little car. I have two front speakers 4x4's in my dash and two
rear 6x9's in a box. The fronts are run from my deck:

They are pretty pitiful, not any base and low wattage. Not enough to
bother hooking up to an amp. However. Interested in hooking and amp
from deck and then from there a sub and the rear 6x9's. Because I
feel I think the base and performance will be lacking. Correct?
My question is what amp and sub would you suggest. I don't need
something THAT fancy just something that could handle this set-up and
produce good sound quality and hopefully not to expensive.
(Sub=possibly thinking PIONEER TSW256C is that decent?)

Stelks
