Default Vocal booth: 4'x 4' or 5'x 3.5'?

I'm ordering a premade vocal booth and have a choice between 4'x 4'
and 5'x 3.5'. I occasionally have clients. This is strictly semi-
pro, but I want to order the size booth that will be most comfortable
for most people. The booth will be mainly used to track vocals,
though occasionally it may be used for sax and acoustic guitar (yes,
it's a very dead environment, but I'll deal with that in the mix. No
slams, please!)

Any opinions on the comfort-factor of the two sizes? I wish I could
afford a 5x5' or 7x7' booth, but not yet.

Someone with experience may answer; however, I'd create both spaces using
the corner of a room and a couple pieces of cheap 1/8" luan plywood. I'd
put up a mic stand with mic in the spaces and see which feels best as a
physical space. As to another poster's comment about oxygen, if you are
considering Whisper Room get the ventilation kit. A friend has one and it
works fine for VO.

Go for 5 by 3.5 because it's not square, which in turn helps to not sound so
boomy in there. This is an acoustics issue, not vocalist comfort, but it's
very important. Frankly I'm surprised they even offer a booth that's square.
