I am in a garage-band-ish type of thing (i.e. no pro here). I play
bass, and am starting to get involved in backup vocals. In practice we have no real PA, just headphones. I struggle to hear my vocals over my lead singer, and thus--along with being new to singing--often waft out of key. I am interested in controlling my personal monitor mix to boost my vocals (but obviously not effect the main mix). In a live situation, I would like a similar control with a powered mixer. I was looking for a device that mixed one XLR (my Mic) with a standard unbalance (the Headphone mix coming from the board). I was hoping to plug my headphones into "that mix". Is there such a device; and/or how is this typically addressed within a reasonable bludget? I appreciate your assistance! Spammy |
