Hello, anyone have an opinion on this amp? I picked one up today on the
???cheap??? and am pushing a pair of Ohm Walsh 1's. Thus far I really like
it and have found some good reviews on the web. It has added some definite
color to the music, almost like I hit the loudness button or something. The
bass is tighter and deeper as well. Looking for other input from the group.
What should I have paid for this used amp. It is in MINT condition.

I have to say that it does not matter what we in the group think about this
amp.
All that should matter is that you like it!
Look at it this way. You got it cheap, it's in mint condition. If you
don't like it
you can always sell it and put the money towards something else. You don't
loose
no matter what. Average price for B&K ST 202 is between $225 and $350.
Sometimes more! Of course
it depends on the day and what someone else is willing to pay. I say enjoy
it and learn
all that you can about it. If it sounds good enjoy it! If it mates well
with your
speakers enjoy it! If you got it cheap then you have made an investment.
Maybe not a very
large one but you will make money on it if you decide to get rid of it.
