Hi all,
'nother quick mine for info. Our church hall setup involves both main speakers using wireless tie mics to preach (and translate). This is causing merry havoc with feedback. We've tried using omnis and directionals and various things but to little or no success. I'm not actually sure why this type of mic is used, it strikes me that a head mic or just a wireless stick mic would be more appropriate simply due to the amount of outside noise rejection they both offer due to their pickup pattern. Any advice? What type of microphones would be most appropriate for this sort of setting? The fact that our stage is not enourmous and that the speaker cluster is not far from the end of the stage probably doesnt help! |
