Hello all,
I am having a problem in deciding which college i should join for my sounds design course. The options are as follows: 1) University of Edinburgh (Msc in Sound Design 1yr)- Over here after the completion of my course i am also being offered 2 yr work visa within Scotland. 2) UCLA (USA) - I dont think i need to say much about this university. please tell me which one shall i go for.The work visa offer from Edinburgh is very important to me also.As i do not wish to come back to india after my course.I would like to work in US if going to UCLA.But as far as i know it is almost impossible to get work visa for US. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Thank You, Rohit Jain |

If you've been following the immigration reform debate in the US... the current Senate proposal dramatically increases the number of work visas (doubles them) and further increases availability by not counting family members against the limit. It is quite likely in 2 years...the opportunity for a work visa in US will be dramatically different from today. I think UCLA also has a student services or placement office that can help you determine your options and give you an idea how successful they are in placing foreign students with employers and obtaining work visas. I suggest you contact them. ScottW |

Well 'sound's like Scotland is a well 'designed' plan for you. Despite the fact that Stupey lives there. -- Posted via NewsDemon.com - Premium Uncensored Newsgroup Service -------http://www.NewsDemon.com------ Unlimited Access, Anonymous Accounts, Uncensored Broadband Access |
