Default TASCAM MX2424 which SCSI interface?

I have to buy a SCSI card to transfer data in my PC from Tascam MX2424.

Can you tell me a model of SCSI card?

Thank you

I've forgotten most of what I knew about the MX-2424, but as I recall,
it has an Ethernet port which can be used to transfer files to your
computer. Unless you have a massive amount of data, I'd use that rather
than fuss with a SCSI card that works with both your computer and the
MX2424.

You might be able to phone TASCAM and get a recommendation but if they
still have recommended accessories on the web site (they used to when
the MX-2424 was a current product) I can't find it.

Any Adaptec/ATTO SCSI card that is UW SCSI or better. Kingston Storcase
SCSI receiver to move files across.

The ethernet port is much cheaper and easier to use, reasonably fast (100bT,
~10MB/s), and connectivity software is available on Tascam's website
(http://tascam.com/Products/MX-2424.html - use MX-View, and not ViewNet).
The important thing is to RECORD IN TAPE MODE, otherwise it takes forever
for the MX to convert from edit to tape mode, even if there are no edits to
perform.

I should point out that I record straight to my PC using a pair of Echo
Audiofire 12's (24 tracks 24/192 i/o total) and my friend with the MX2424
becomes more and more jealous every day.
