As the subject line says, I'm looking for a quality mini system or
discrete components that could be used as a wake-up alarm (playing FM ro
CD), and also with a sleep timer.

JVC, Sony, and Onkyo make a few, but they aren't up to the sound quality
that I'm looking for. Nakamichi made the SoundSpace 3, but it has some
real quality problems, and it doesn't look like any of their other
systems have these capabilities.

Does anyone know of a good system or a preamp/tuner/cd combo that would
do? Thanks in advance.
