Scientists Say Administration Distorts Facts
By JAMES GLANZ Published: February 19, 2004 More than 60 influential scientists, including 20 Nobel laureates, issued a statement yesterday asserting that the Bush administration had systematically distorted scientific fact in the service of policy goals on the environment, health, biomedical research and nuclear weaponry at home and abroad. The sweeping accusations were later discussed in a conference call organized by the Union of Concerned Scientists, an independent organization that focuses on technical issues and has often taken stands at odds with administration policy. On Wednesday, the organization also issued a 38-page report detailing its accusations. The two documents accuse the administration of repeatedly censoring and suppressing reports by its own scientists, stacking advisory committees with unqualified political appointees, disbanding government panels that provide unwanted advice and refusing to seek any independent scientific expertise in some cases. |

This is the typical behaviour of a dictature... In the end Bush looks like Saddam Hussein, the only difference is that he uses to commit his crimes outside of his own country. |

They often take stands that are at odds with reality and common sense. On Wednesday, the organization also issued a 38-page report detailing its accusations. From: "Michael McKelvy" They often take stands that are at odds with reality and common sense. Now who you going to believe? The ever factual Mike McKelvy, or sixty lying liberal red-diaper-doper-baby Nobel Laureates who probably got head from Monica Lewinsky? I just don't know. This is a tough one. This is a real frickin' poser, I tell ya... Socko Frequent RAO poster Mike McKelvy has recently proudly claimed on RAO the following: http://groups.google.com/groups?q=g:...&lr=&ie=UTF-8& scoring=d&selm=102o00fq8l3li9e%40corp.supernews.co m "I never knowingly say anything I know to be untrue." This really raises a lot of questions about what he knows or doesn't know. Perhaps he *should* have said "I never knowingly say anything I know to be true". I'll let the RAO readers decide which statement would better describe him. (Rumor has it that he's a former polygrapher !!! - but that's just an "opinion", of course. Bruce J. Richman |

It would never have become an issue if McKelvy had not launched a 7 year smear campaign of lies and false claims about my professional credentials, background and activities. I have no intention of letting him continue his smear campaign without discrediting him whenever he chooses to spread more lies about me. His credibility, not my identity, is the real issue here.
