Hi,
I am using Logic 5.5 under Mac OS 9.2.2. I also use some VSTs, primarily eMagic's EXSP24 sample player. There is a version of Logic 5 (5.5.1) that runs on OS X, and works with AU. Is it possible to use a wrapper, or convert my VSTs to AU somehow? Has anyone done this? thanks, fred san rafael |

There is a version of Logic 5 (5.5.1) that runs on OS X,
and works with AU I was a Logic beta tester through that version (5.5.1). I may be wrong, but I do not remember that version supporting AU. That came later with Logic 6 (after they shoved the stick all the way up Windows Logic users' butts). Version 5 natively supported VST, although the VST implementation has long been the subject of varied opinions regarding it's worthiness :-) You can run Logic 7 (which supports AU natively), and use FXpansion's wrapper to run your VSTi's. -- Regards, Ted Perlman Producer-Arranger-Composer-Guitarist www.tedperlman.com |
