Default The best recording I've yet heard, I beleive

Just picked it up on a trip to San Francisco:

The Classic Records reprint of the Mercury recording of Firebird.
WOW!!! I've never heard sound this good in my home. A wonderful
Stravinsky/LSO/Dorati/Fine/Cozart/et al production. MOST highly
recommended.

I have an older Classic Records pressing, and I concur!

I have the original. FANTASTIC!
one of the best, certainly
How abaout PAray Bizet/Carmen
and Paray/Dupre, Saint-Saens Organ Concerto.

I'm selling my MErcury's, but keeping "at least" those three.

As do I, and I agree. But I think that the newer pressing is even
better than my almost pristine copy of the original.

Love them both!
