reccommendation: Tascam US-122 vs M-Audio Fast Track Pro
I want to start messing around with home recording, probably using
audacity (under windows XP) , and I am considering getting one of these two units. At this stage, I don't think I require much in the way of fancy features, but rather I'm more concerned with getting something that just works, and that won't have driver problems or explode. I like the fact that I can plug a guitar directly into one of these, although that's not an absolute requirement, as my amp has an XLR output. Anyway, I would appreciate any opinions about these. |

Thanks, I've actually been leaning towards the us-122. BTW, "Mox nix"
= "Machts nichts"? I haven't heard that one before :-) |

It's GI German from the occupying US troops after the war. "Makes no
difference", "doesn't really matter", something along those lines. With all the Bier and fruleins, exact literacy was not foremost.
