Default Question about mic

there's a bit more to your question than you realize...
What you are looking for is first a microphone pre-amp, which will take
the low level output of the microphone and boost it to a line level
signal.
Once you have the line level signal, then you need an Analog to Digital
(A-D) converter to digitize your audio for a computer.
Then you need an interface to get all those bits into the computer
somehow.

These three steps are all found in some devices, coupling mic pres, A-D
converters and an interface all in one box, but in the pro world we
often use three completely separate components to do this process in
order to have the most control.

assuming that you bought a Samson CO1U, this mic ONLY goes to the computers
USB port. if you add a preamp or mixer you will need obtain a different mic.
