Click Tracks In Pro Tools LE
I'm new to Pro Tools. Is there no internal click track included in the
package? If I have to add an external, what's the most efficient way to get it done? Thanks! |

I believe there is an internal click option, but my version came with
Reason (most do these days) and I use Reason's click track or just quickly build a drum sequence to use as a click track. |

You already have a digirack plug called "Click". Just patch it into an aux
track, and it will follow the session tempo automatically. malachi "DrumStooge" wrote in message ups.com... I'm new to Pro Tools. Is there no internal click track included in the package? If I have to add an external, what's the most efficient way to get it done? Thanks! |

There is a click included, it's just not in the most intuitive of
places... 1 - In the session that you are working on, add a new "aux input" track 2 - Assign the click plugin to that track (it's under "instruments") 3 - There are a few different factory preset sounds for the click, my favorite is "marimba 2" 4 - The click drives off of whatever the tempo is on the timeline (the tempo can change for different parts of the song), so make sure when you set the tempo that you are at the beginning of timecode for the session, and un-click the button on your transport window that has the little director-looking guy on it. (if you don't see the director, make sure the "midi controls" and "expanded" options are checked for the transport window under View-Transport 5 - You should now be able to type in whatever tempo you want, and when you hit play it will generate! |
