Powell referred to last year at the U.N. - including scientists, an ex-State
department official, and a former U.N. weapons inspector, that prove that
all the assertions being made by Bush, Cheney, and Powell a year ago were
*not* based on "solid intelligence", but were rather pure fabrications. NOT
ONE member of the intelligence community, for example, agreed with the phony
claim that those aluminum tubes were designed for or capable of use in
producing enriched weapons-grade uranium. And the "decontamination
vehicles" Powell referred to at the U.N. speech outside supposed chemical
factories displayed during his speech with satellite photos, were already
known to be nothing but fire trucks, and the so-called chemical factories

I never thought I'd be cheering on the CIA, but by BushCo using David Kay to
try to dump the blame on the CIA, the CIA and other intelligence officials
are finally fighting back with the truth - that contrary to Kay's opinion,
*most* of the misinformation came from administration officials, and *not*
the intelligence community. Good for them!

You "out" their field operatives, you twist their intelligence to support
your phony claims to justify your illegal war, and then you blame the CIA
for everything, and before you know it, more and more people of courage come
forth and tell it like it is.
