![]() Please help me to realize what I am attempting to accomplish. Some of you may know me. I'm a vocalist who wishes to begin writing his own "stuff". I would like to lay down one track at a time and I must admit, I'm not very proficient on the keyboard. It may take me a few thousand attempts to get it right but I'm very persistent. Anyway, this is what I wish to ask. What is the best sort of instrument to take my completed tracks off my computer drive (MIDI), put them on the machine I'm playing, and record a new track along with the old ones ? I would take the new completed MIDI track and do what needs to be done with it later on at my leisure. I'd rather lay down the new track to the accompaniment of the older tracks in order to get into the groove that I wrote specifically (not contrived by the synth). I wish to retain the exact emotions that I wrote into the piece so I dont WANT the synth to "improvise" along with the new track I'm playing. Can anyone direct me at all or have an alternate suggestion ? I've lookat at items such as the Roland GW-7, EXR-5, and the Korg TritonLe. Thanks so much; it's really confusing me. Sincerely, George |
