Default Which amp is a better choice for my SUBS?

I recently fried my amp, a cheap Lanzar, now I want to buy a better one. My
subs are 2 Audiobahn AW1206T's. They are rated at 1100 RMS each. I really
like the RF amp which claims 400RMS x2 @ 2ohms. I know they put out a little
more, but I was thinking maybe if I get 2 Audiobahn A8000T's which claims
800RMS @ 2ohms would probably be cheapper and push them a little harder.
Should I go for the well known reputation of Rockford Fosgate, or should I
trust the new not so great Audiobahn's? Thanks for your opinions.

I forgot to mention, the Audiobahn amps are mono, so that is 800 RMS @ 2ohms
per sub.

I would personally go with a mono class D amp. The two channel class A/B amps
run a lot hotter and eat up more power to produce the same results. Audiobahn
amps IMO flat out suck balls. If your heart is set on Rockford Fosgate then go
for it. I would personally aim towards a single class D amp like the HiFonics
Brutus BXi1606D to keep you in the same price range as the two Audiobahn's.

I really do not like Hifonics, neither audiobahn, check the MOJO at
www.memphiscaraudio.com

I use the 4kw, it produces about 4000watts at 1ohm, it really needs
tons of amperes, but is very efficient.

Just change your wire gauge to 0...

I have to say that you post is funny as hell. Did you use the
meter-kilogram-second system to come up with the "tons of amperes"?
