Default Damping 250Hz in iso booth

Hi smart ones!

I have a 5x7 iso booth and I need to get rid of some 250Hz from within.
No matter where I put the mic, the signal is very 'marshmallow-ish" and
I have to EQ the hell out of the vox track.

I have the 2" pyramid acoust tiles and track with Rode NT2-A through
Tascam M3500 mic pres.

Any good solutions? (traps, blankets from ceiling etc...)

please enlighten

cheers
rich
