Default 12ms / 14ms HD access time does it really change?

Hello all,

I actually have 3 Hitachi 250Go SATA hard drives.
I just bought a forth one : Samsung Spinpoint cause it supposed to be really
quiet.
I'm really impressed with the noise the Spinpoint performs : that's really
low compared to my Hitachi.
Then I'm considering changing my 3 others Hitachi by 3 Samsung.
But If the Samsung has a good transfer rate, it is the worst one among the
competition concerning the access time (14ms vs 12ms for the Hitachi).
Since I'm gonna use these drivers for big VSTi that do disk streaming I
guess that the access time is quite important for my DAW performance... but
will the difference between 12ms and 14 ms really impact?

Thanks for your feedback or opinion!

Cheers,

rmiste.
