Who would have ever thought that a couple of 12AX7s would go up for
sale with a description of their internal construction?

I'm not sure what "triple mica" means - perhaps a less microphonic
construction that might be important to those using the tubes in a
guitar amplifier, but the getter is an inactive element once the tube
is made. Is a square getter some kind of magic charm?

The shape of the getter is significant to some because it indicates a
specific
era of construction. Never understood it but, hey, there must be
something in it given
that these two little USED bottles are now up over 80 bucks !
