I am just starting out on this journey to explore the world of sound
via this forum. Hope to get guidance on some speakers and connections. I am on a "low budget" (USD $300 / INR Rs.15000)and out to buy some speakers , mostly powered as I am not in for any receivers/amps. I had a thought and researched many a forum to check if anyone has posted comments on this idea. I thought of getting Altec Lansing MX5021 for a start and then upgrade it to the next level by getting a pair of Polk Monitor/ Rti4 as they are recently launched in India where I live. Can anyone please advise if I can do such a thing?, as the 5021's sats are powered for 20 watts per channel and the Polks have a range of 20 watts to 100-125 watts. What will be the result? Can the Polks match the Altec Lansing in any way? Thanks for your help... |
