Bose acoustimass 7
I got a Bose acoustimass 7 from my son. it has 3 satilite speakers and a
bass sub, but no receiver. I need to know what type of power will I need to power this. I've tried using a a Pioneer Audio/video multi-channel 100W X6 receiver but am unable to push the bass woofer. I've talked to people at a few Audio stores but they don't seem to know anything, As you can imagine I do not have the owners manual. Can anyone help me? |

I had one of these once and had no trouble driving it with a run of the mill Technics receiver. Either it is not hooked up properly or there is a problem with the bass module. IIRC, all the amp outputs go to the bass module and all the satellites are connected to the bass module. I suggest contacting Bose for more info. |
